Helpful Hints

Try to avoid, if at all possible, planting your trees too close to your neighbours’ property, especially on soil that could be prone to subsidence.

Do your research and establish what the  eventual height and spread of the tree could be. Is the tree likely in time to overhang your neighbour’s property or restrict their light?

You could potentially save yourself a lot of hassle, not to mention time or money, by being aware of the possible legal ramifications if your tree overhangs your neighbours property.

There are legal positions on both of these issues, and these also apply to neighbouring trees that overhang your own property.

As always, if you have any queries about the best type of tree to plant in your garden, or you need advice on your existing trees then just pop in to see us at Worthy Plants.

We are always happy to help.
